Your first thoughts of the product:
Clever thought out design from someone who breeds chickens and sends eggs all over the world. Product well made, surprisingly sturdy and practical.

Plain white polystyrene box with lid. Completely foam filled with 12 inserts for the eggs.

Product Pros and Cons
Having met the designer/manufactures of the SecureEggBox we know the idea behind creating such a box for sending hatching eggs. Basically the idea behind it was to ensure that hatching eggs beat the postal system, and their results proved that they do. We brought back 10 boxes from Holland on our last trip, and we have only used 2. These 2 boxes have been in circulation for 3 months now, they have been within the postal system 4 times each and despite the odd scratch and crumbled corner on the outside, the main protective packaging remains intact. For us as a business and for our customers, we have seen a significant rise in hatch-ability by using these boxes, eggs have been recieved in tact and undamaged. And if that doesn’t sound promising, with the royal mail the box is still classed as a small parcel. The foam inserts will comfortably protect small/medium/large, waterfowl, turkey and peafowl eggs. This is a well made product. Con… If we had to be picky then the lid for the box could be a little thicker, although very sturdy and undamaged throughout the whole 3 months of us using these 2 boxes. We feel that great care is needed with the lid when on it’s own and removed from the box.
Conclusion
We are most certainly going to use these boxes again, for our benefit and for our customers.
We recommend this product to breeders who send eggs regularly, to those who send eggs out of the country. They are an investment to your business, to your reputation.
